Welcome to Low Hall Lake District Country Cottage in Cumbria
Low Hall Cottage in Cumbria is a historic 400 year old farmhouse situated in an exceptionally tranquil location in the English Lake District National Park. It has a beautiful outlook over the Western Fells
The holiday cottage is full of character, decorated and furnished to a high standard, with exposed stones, oak beams, and a Victorian log fire. It provides excellent self catering accommodation for 6 people.
The three ensuite double bedrooms and the dining conservatory, which stretches the full length of the cottage downstairs all look out over the garden, the stream and the native woodland. Wake to birdsong and the sound of the stream
Over 60 species of bird have been seen at Low Hall, the rare native red squirrels are frequents visitors and there are several families of hares. Less frequent visitors include badgers, foxes, and roe deer.
The holiday cottage is 5 minutes drive from Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth, with its shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions; 20 minutes drive from Keswick, or the Solway coast of Cumbria.
Our self catering holiday accommodation has been awarded a 4-star grading from Visit Britain.
